DESCRIPTION:  \nResumo: In this seminar\, I shall present some of the main results obtained during my PhD training. Within the realm of vacuum-induced phase transitions\, we have established a family of optical based analogue models for the phenomenon of gravity-induced vacuum instability\, and\, as byproduct\, a novel method of field quantization in the presence of instability and dispersive media was proposed.
