[:pb]Título: Low-ionization structures in planetary nebulae – Physical, kinematic and excitation properties

Resumo: Shock interactions are present in different ionized environments such as AGNs, SNRs, PNe, Harbig-Haro objects, jets, etc. The forbidden emission lines such as [S II] λλ6716,6731, [N II] λλ6548,6584, [O II] λ3727,[O I] λλ6300,6363 and [N I] λ5200 are usually strong indicator of shocks. Recent studies on planetary nebulae have unveiled that low-velocity (<100 km/s) shocks are more important than we thought. Low-ionization small-scale structures (LISs) in planetary nebulae (PNe) such as knots, filaments and jets are ideal laboratories to study how low-velocity shocks affect the ionization structure of PNe.
